Terry Fox Run in New York
Once again Stikeman Elliott New York organized and participated in the annual Terry Fox Run for Cancer Research in New York. Ken Ottenbreit, the office's managing principal, founded the New York run in 1994 and is the run director. SENY lawyers, staff and their families participated in the run and served as key volunteers.

An estimated 1,500 participants ranging in age from infants to seniors walked, strolled, ran, jogged, skated, and wheeled in New York's Central Park on Saturday, October 18. Refreshments for this 5K, non-competitive family run were provided by The Four Seasons Hotel, and volunteers, patients, staff and doctors from Memorial Sloan-Kettering were all in attendance.

Over $150,000 was raised from this year's run which will go to cancer research in the name of Terry Fox at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, one of the top cancer research facilities in the world.
